ASLPM is responsible for providing comprehensive Project Management & Construction Management services for the Facilities Planning and Construction (FPC) Division project implementation at the San Diego Unified School District (SDUSD). Additionally, ASLPM delivers Fiscal and Program Controls support for FPC operations. The capital improvement projects at SDUSD are funded by two General Obligation (GO) bond measures, Propositions S and Z, totaling $4.9 billion. These bond measures support the repair, renovation, and revitalization of district schools, focusing on classroom technology upgrades, safety enhancements, ADA compliance, and the construction of new facilities for College, Career, and Technical Education.
ASLPM’s scope of services encompasses project management, construction management, fiscal oversight, and program controls to ensure the successful implementation of SDUSD’s bond program. Our team collaborates closely with SDUSD’s FPC Division to manage project phasing, budget allocation, and schedule adherence. Services include system administration and configuration for FPC Systems, including Primavera Unifier. We assign and modify user roles, develop business processes, and provide first-level support for end-users. Additionally, ASLPM assists in gathering system requirements, deploys necessary changes to workflows and configurations, and conducts training sessions for technical and non-technical users.
Results
Through diligent project management and fiscal oversight, ASLPM has facilitated the successful execution of numerous capital improvement projects within SDUSD’s Propositions S and Z bond program.
